David's guest, Madame Maven developed a curiosity about death from an early age, influenced by her experiences of watching people's responses to death and working in a nursing home at 18.
She began collecting clippings related to death and dying, including obituaries and alternative burial options.
She also continued to explore the topic through her travels.
But despite the potentially uncomfortable nature of the subject, Madame Maven strives to make conversations about death more engaging and enjoyable for others.
